No matter what the day was, usually sunny, in the early morning, Mr Waller carted us to swimming lessons. My class was always first in the pool, just after school started, of course its freezing. I love swimming in freezing pool, but this day I felt unusual.
One by one, kids jumped into the pool, I was laughing, too excited. Next minute I was in the pool, I wasn’t laughing anymore, my skin was numb, I had a head ache.
Trying to get out, but my brain didn’t work, step by step I crept to the edge of the pool. Getting out of the pool made me warmer.
Looking at my body, I saw mosquito bites. But it wasn’t itchy, I was an ice man!
